Dr. Daniel Johnson is a compassionate and highly trained board certified Pediatric Dentist with a rich understanding of the unique care and needs of children. Dr. Johnson received his Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University before pursuing a higher education in dentistry and earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from West Virginia University School of Dentistry. He then completed a General Practice Residency at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio, and a Pediatric Residency at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.
Dr. Johnson’s post-graduate residency in pediatric dentistry equipped him with the specialized skills and knowledge necessary to provide comprehensive oral healthcare to infants, children and adolescents.
Dr. Johnson chose a career in pediatric dentistry because he truly loves being around children. As a father himself, Dr. Johnson strives to treat his patients with the same care he would his own children. Furthermore, he values helping children gain the skills and confidence to care for their own oral health and helping educate them in doing so.
His goal is to make every dental visit as positive as possible for each patient by instilling an optimistic attitude toward dental visits now and through adulthood. He finds it rewarding to be able to help a child transform their dental fears into a fun experience.
In his free time, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with his wife and four daughters. He also loves collecting and building Legos, playing games, playing tennis, swimming, and running. As someone who spent most of his childhood in the mountains of Utah, Dr. Johnson enjoys wearing shorts in February and not shoveling snow. He also likes to explore the Hill Country with his family, from paddle boarding on Town Lake to hiking down to Hamilton Pool.
